The Church Buildings are made from temporary materials and often lack windows, floors, doors and sometimes even a roof. Many 'church buildings' are simply four walls - a temporary structure. *View the Church Buildings photo album.* Many of the churches are located in the rural areas consisting of farmland, mountains and valleys. Poor road conditions and weather only add to the pastors' concerns for transportation. Often living more than 7 miles from the church, pastors and their families walk to church and back home again. Thus, a Bicycle is helpful for transport to church and for other ministry activities. The majority of pastors work full time in a secular workplace and dedicate the remainder of their time to their families and the church. Thus, Pastor Sponsorship is crucial to help transition the leadership into full time ministry while meeting their needs until the church is financially able to. Giving enough time to pastoral duties is a major struggle voiced by the rural pastors. Our Bible School, offered at a low cost, is a necessary tool for every pastor, however, due to finances very few can afford it. Sponsoring a pastor through this 2-year course will significantly impact their ministry enabling them to more effectively reach their communities! Pastors, leaders and even church members have expressed a desire for Training, Conferences, Teachings and Materials on various subjects. They are in need of teams that will sacrifice a few days in order to train them in the areas they desire. Special NeedsAs in any church, special medical needs arise that families are unable to afford - but are necessary for a child or parent to continue living. Many orphaned children and those with handicaps currently lack wheelchairs, food, housing and proper education. Widows are common and often are left with 3 - 12 children to take care of. In all these cases, people need to not only hear about God's love, but see if in practical terms.
